Toyota Safety Sense: Safety Should Not Come with a Price Tag
November 30 2017, Toyota Gatineau
With Toyota Safety Sense, the Japanese manufacturer demonstrates its values and, above all, shows that at Toyota, safety comes before profit. Toyota is one of the few brands to offer several active safety systems on the vast majority of its models as standard equipment and at no extra cost.
Toyota Safety Sense: No Need to Pay More for Advanced Safety Technologies
With Toyota Safety Sense, or TSS-C and TSS-P, Toyota leads by offering active safety features that are usually reserved for its competitors' options catalog.
For example, the Toyota Safety Sense P, or TSS-P, includes Pre-Collision with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Warning System with Steering Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Automatic High Beams.
TSS-P is available on the 2018 Toyota C-HR, the 2017 Toyota Corolla, all versions of the 2017 Highlander, the 2017 Toyota Avalon and the 2017 Toyota RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid.
Next comes the Toyota Safety Sense C, or TSS-C. The latter is offered on the 2017 Toyota Corolla iM, the 2017 Toyota Yaris Hatchback and the 2017 Toyota Prius C.
The TSS-C includes slightly fewer functions than TSS-P, but like TSS-P it remains unique in the category of standard equipment. The technologies included in TSS-C include the pre-collision system, lane departure warning system and automatic high beams.
Whether your new Toyota vehicle is equipped with TSS-C or TSS-P, the objective is the same: preventing accidents by warning you of potential dangers. With TSS-P, your car is even able to react for you if you don’t. To learn more about Toyota Safety Sense and new Toyota vehicles, contact us today at Toyota Gatineau!
